Magic Kingdom Planning

I'm pretty sure at this point this forum is just posts from me asking for advice (sorry but you guys are just too helpful and nice!). I just want this trip to be amazing because I probably won't get to go back to Disney for a long time and it's been years since I've been. The last time I went to Magic Kingdom the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train didn't exist. Just for reference I am a college student going with my friend.

1) I have allotted two days for Magic Kingdom. I am currently trying to decide whether to swap my Haunted Mansion FP for a Peter Pan FP. I want to do both attractions but I care more about the Haunted Mansion. However I keep reading that lines for Peter Pan are always super long whereas the Haunted Mansion is bad but not as bad. I don't know what to do.

2) I am also trying to decide which land to start in/end in on each day. I have read conflicting info. Go to Fantasyland early. Don't go to Fantasyland early. Go to Haunted Mansion and Pirates early. Go to Space Mountain early. I'm so lost lol.

3) Friday we got stuck with 8:30am breakfast reservations with EMH 8-9am. Should we try and get there for EMH and squeeze in a ride before breakfast or just forget about it and just show up for breakfast?

4) I know Tuesday will be less crowded than Friday especially since Friday has EMH. However I have been reading that May before Memorial Day Weekend isn't supposed to be very crowded. Still I'm thinking I should try and hit up the most popular attractions Tuesday. Does that make sense?

My schedule (before adding in the standbye rides is the following):

Tuesday, May 15 (Magic Kingdom) 9am-9pm:
Wake up 7:00am
Leave hotel with Uber at 7:45am
Breakfast at The Crystal Palace 8:35am (8:35-10am)
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Fantasyland) FastPass 11-12pm
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Frontierland) FastPass 12:50-1:50pm
Splash Mountain (Frontierland) FastPass 2:15-3:15pm
Dinner at Be Our Guest 6:10pm
Happily Ever After 9:00pm

Friday, May 18 (Magic Kingdom)-Extra Magic Hours 8-9am (9am-9pm):
Wake up 6:45am
Leave hotel with Uber at 7:15am
Ride 8-8:30???
Breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table 8:30am
Space Mountain FastPass 10:55-11:55am
Haunted Mansion 1:30-2:30pm
Dinner at Tony’s Town Square 4:35pm or 6pm
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train 6:55-7:55pm
Happily Ever After 9:00pm

If anyone read all of this-thank you!!!

As you're staying onsite, I say you should make the most of EMH.

Firstly, sign up for a basic (non paying) subscription to Touring Plans and use their reservation finder to try and shift one or both breakfasts to a bit later, ideally say 9:30 which still gives you room to make those first FP times you have each day.

Now let's think about what to do if you can't move them. Get Uber to drop you at the Contemporary and walk the 10 minutes max to MK. Security is near the end of the path. Both days are EMH, so gates will open pretty much at 8am, meaning crowds will be gathering outside the gates.

On Day 1, I would head straight to Space Mountain. Probably 75-80% will head to Fantasyland for 7dmt and PP. so you go to Space, ride that and head back to the Crystal Palace for your date with Pooh. That would give you the chance to switch FP from Space to PP for Day 2. But this plan calls for you to be able to get to MK as early as possible. As your plans stand, you'd be arriving at MK after 8am and you wouldn't have time before breakfast. You need to be aiming to arrive at the Contemporary by 7:30 if you can. More so Day 1.

For Day 2, unless you arrive in time to be in the park by 8am, I'm not sure you'll have time to ride anything. You'll definitely want to be checking in for CRT 10/15 minutes early.

However, I personally love the queue for Haunted Mansion. I would suggest trying to do HM right after your breakfast at CRT. Assuming around 10am, the line shouldn't be too long and you would get the whole experience. That would allow you to modify the FP for Haunted Mansion to something else, say Jungle Cruise which is a slow loader.

As for touring, I prefer to finish one Land and move on. If I only had two days, I would try and split the park in two, so TL and Fantasyland one day, Adventure and Frontier lands the next. Fantasyland traditionally got busiest mid-day as those who started a clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation of MK arrived there. That is probably still the case, but there is a surge at rope drop and EMH. Only FL and TL are open for EMH, which swells numbers. It's also why I think HM at around 10am should still be OK, any non-EMH guests will still be elsewhere by then.
