I'm with you... though I really enjoyed guardians 1, I was baffled by guardians 2. I know they think they have this huge hit on their hands... I'm more inclined to think it's a temporary fad.

They pretty much are forced to do parties like this during the summer months until new things open....IMHO

I know the general public doesn't care either way, but the Guardians of Epcot movement is such a shallow misread of the Epcot aesthetic that it's driving me crazy.

Oh. By all means. It's the fact they are truly finding this to be a "great" move and going full steam. For me, it's the nail in my own personal Epcot coffin.

Generally, I like the idea of starting to set up the new attraction. But this particular one seems like such a misplaced attempted cash grab. (Again, personal opinion there.)

Oh no. I was at the Candle Light Procession with Neil Patrick Harris over Christmas. He made a joke....
"Welcome to the America Gardens Theater! There's several new rides coming to Epcot. You have Ratatouille coming to France and the Guardians coming to Future World. There's also a new one I'm proud to announce tonight, the American Guardians of the Galaxy Theater." (Along the lines of that)

That was a joke I laughed at and said "I wouldn't be surprised". Somehow...I'm not surprised.
