Plaza Inn is HUGE, and they would fill it. The girls had to limit themselves to something like 20 seconds per table and regularly were not able to see everyone in one set. Guest complaints were constant, the girls were run ragged, it was very bad. It was so bad Disney actually gave each princess performer an I’m sorry you had to deal with this bonus when it closed.

OK, I can see that, especially with high demand face characters.

Any guesses on how they might proceed?

Either way (at the beginning or the end) it looks to be more than just some cutouts as some have been assuming this overlay is going to be.

People thought it would be cutouts? In the video announcing the details we saw them sculpting a full 3D model of Edna.

Yep, there were discussions on it in the Pixar Pier thread. Some were claiming this is going to be nothing more than some cutouts slapped onto Screamin'. This is the problem trying to discuss a project before all the details are known.

Dunno, may be limited motion but I have a feeling there will be something more to it. May even see some projection mapping in there somewhere. But nonetheless, its more than just some plywood cutouts like Six Flags.

I can't think of one plywood cutout used at SFMM in regards to attractions.

There has always been a 3-D Superman at the top of the Roller Coaster when it was facing forward.

Just thought of another option instead of Fries. A Dessert Stand, McFluffy's, McParfaits and Apple Pies. High profit makers, doesn't require that much equipment, and can be made quickly, so long as they keep the "non-dairy" mix machines full.

Yes it looks like a fun ride, haven't ridden it myself yet. My point was that some have commented that the Incredicoaster was only going to be slapping up some Incredibles (and other Pixar character for the overall pier) cutouts for this overlay. And from the permit (and other details that have come out) it looks like its going to be way more than just some simple cutouts.

Anyways, back to the permits.

If you are looking at good themed roller coasters, look no further than 2 classics, the Matterhorn, and Knott's Calico Mine Ride. (Yes, it is a roller coaster, the train works on gravity and a lift hill. The lift hill is in the middle of the ride. And the load/unload station is at the middle of the hill. Pretty cleaver design by Bud Hurlbut.

But you can even go back earlier in history.
