Not sad or frustrated. It was past due for closing. It had run its time and was losing popularity...Disney wasnt doing anything to improve it so it would be more attractive.
I'm not an NBA fan and I am sad theres not something more appealing going in. I wish Disney would come up with something broader in spectrum that would not limit the guests drawn to the site.
Sadly most of the games were broken in some form or fashion. I remember the last time we went there we tried to find a single game that we could play in the retro area and not one was fully functional. If we had paid to get in I would have be demanding my money back it was so disturbingly bad. Which is sad because it didn't have to be that way. It wouldn't have cost that much to do the basic maintenance on the machines to make them work. I worked in an arcade when I was in high school and the reality is half the games that were broken could have been fixed with a 10 or 20 dollar part and someone spending 5 minutes with the machine open.... But for whatever reason didn't wouldn't provide even the most basic maintenance of the machines.Really sad, was my favorite spot to go and play retro games.
