Was wondering what percent of Americans have never been to Disney World ever? Obviously the number is over 55 percent but I can't find the exact number (remember there are 321 million Americans) . A lot of people wrongly assume 'everyones been to Disney World' and that is simply not remotely true. If anyone says under 50 percent then they have to back it up with a source.

And what percent of Europeans have never been to Disney World ever?? That percent would most likely be over 75 percent.

And I think we can all agree that over 80 percent of people from Asia/Australia have never been to Disney World.

You think 50% of Americans have been to Disney?

You need to get out more.

I think we can all agree that unless we are able to poll everybody on earth, we'll never have an exact number. And by the time we finish polling, millions will have died, millions will be born, and millions who hadn't been to WDW when the poll started may have been by the time it ends, so it would go on forever. Or until WDW no longer exists. ;)

Then you have those that have been reincarnated. Some that never went are brought back as rich people and can attend now. Those are still considered first timers. Then there are those that went in a previous life and are now going again. Do you count them again or just once? It boggles the mind as well as throwing the percentages off!:bookworm::banghead:

Well obviously under 50 percent of Americans have been to Disney World (probably somewhere in the upper 30s to upper 40s). People who say otherwise are the type who assumes everyone does everything. 321 million Americans and over 10 percent live in poverty. Unless someone can prove me wrong the number is under 50 percent. Logic would dictate that any number higher than 55 percent would seem odd. But Disney fans don't want to admit the truth.

Just asking so don't get defensive, but where did you get your numbers from? And do you have a chart/graph/poll that you could show us to back up your statement?

Nobody is insisting it must be higher than 55%, people are just asking where you're getting your statistics from. Fewer than 55% of Americans having visited Disney World does sound reasonable. Don't know why you're being snippy.

So if someone says it's under 50 percent they have to back it up with a source, but you are throwing out number without a source to back them up. If you really want to do an analytical analysis of this you shouldn't put any pre-conditions on the result.
