Monorail to Magic Kingdom down this morning

On our way to breakfast at the Grand Floridian and the monorail to the Magic Kingdom is down with only ferry boats and buses available. However, the monorail to the resorts is working which thank goodness is the one we need.

Modified monorail routes- May 16-17, May 23-24, and May 30 from 11:30 AM – 6 PM
The Resort monorail will go to the Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom

The Express monorail will also stop at the Contemporary. It will travel to the TTC and Magic Kingdom.

The monorail is under refurbishment and may have modified service or routes depending on park hours. You should check on the day of travel the best option to use. Alternative transportation options may be available.

That's the reasoning behind the closures.

This is NOT 5/16-5/17. Obviously just the usual everyday type of operations outage the monorail experiences.
