Laughable for 2024, as others have stated the potential cities submitted bids years ago...
Then again, it's more about bribery and kickbacks so maybe by the time comes for 2028, assuming LA doesn't win for 2024 (they're the heavy favorite) or if another well equipped US city (or LA bidding again) doesn't jump in- I could see Orlando making a serious push. It would probably do what the Olympics did for Madrid- solidify Orlando as a world class city that's "made it". I know Orlando already enjoys plenty of attention, but the Olympics certainly would raise the bar significantly.
I guess if you count Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando and Gainseville as potential venues, we'd have plenty. I'd hate to see what happens to Interstate 4 if this comes to fruition. Maybe they can just make the new toll road "Olympic Business Only" during the event.
