DAK How does Avatarland construction affect the Jungle Jammin Parade?

Like most people on this board, I'm not a particular fan of the fact that currently only one parade for four theme parks. My understanding is that construction is part of the reason, but since construction of AVATAR land doesn't seem to impact the actual parade route, it is decidedly odd that the Jungle Jammin parade has not continued performances.

My questions are:

Did construction of AVATAR land demolish the warehouse that housed the parade and if so where are the floats currently being stored? Or have the floats been scrapped?

Are their any plans to resume performances in Animal Kingdom?

No, and sadly no. Jammin' was cut mainly for budget, but also due to the massive congestion it caused. The warehouse still stands and holds (some) of the old things.

I thought some of the recent store renovations/expansions (Disney Outfitters?) on Discovery Island made the running of the parade not possible. Basically, the already tight guest paths for the parade would not not be functional and they were less than ideal to begin with.

I don't think the footprint for Pandora had anything specific to do with the parade going away.

I've long mused that if they wanted a large scale entertainment during the day for DAK, then some sort of "parade" or show on the water using the RoL theater during the day would probably be ideal.

Parades are very labor-intensive, nevermind expensive to replace, which is why Disney has been getting rid of them. We are now down to only two in the whole resort, both being at MK. Festival of Fantasy, and Move It, Shake It, Dance and Play It!, which is now an ugly social media marketing machine. Bring back the Hannah Montana tunes!

Projection shows are far far less expensive to run and replace.

I would love to see the return of a parade at DAK. But the combination of congested pathways and distaste from management makes the chance of one returning very very slim.

Yeah, a daytime show on the "river" would be great, since the RoL theater just sits idle until nighttime. Doubt they're eager to go that route after they just got out of the RoL fiasco, but I think it would make good use of the space.

I would even be happy if they just kept the theater open as a place to sit. They don't do that already, do they? I would love to stare at the water. Maybe something could occasionally pass by.

Though since management hates providing benches and other places to take a rest, I can't see them doing that. Staring at the water is a waste of time when you could be shopping or dining!
