Classic Carowinds (Charlotte, NC theme park) TV commercial from circa 1987-88!

A lot has changed at Carowinds since this commercial aired. The park has expanded greatly, and Hanna-Barbera characters no longer appear there. Currently, Peanuts characters (Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Sally, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder) greet guests. For a while, the park had Nickelodeon characters (roughly mid-1990's to late 2000's) such as Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants.

and they opened a Culver's just down the road.
First I ever heard of a Culver's in NC. I thought those were mainly in Wisconsin.

That chain has REALLY grown! No so long ago, Culver's was almost entirely in Wisconsin.
Now back to the commercial. Has anyone else on this group ever been to Carowinds? Also, does anyone ever remember seeing this commercial? I can imagine not many, since it mainly aired in the Carolinas and maybe southern Virginia.
