DAK to Hoop Dee Doo

Is it possible to make it from DAK to Hoop Dee Doo in an hour? I'm looking to leave right at 7:30pm tonight (after Rivers of Light) for my 8:30pm Hoop show. I'm meeting a group of people there, but it would be just me - so I'm definitely planning on weaving around crowds and booking it to my car as fast as possible.

It will be very tight. If you stay until the very end of ROL it will be at least a 10-15 minute walk out of the park, even with dodging thru the crowds (there were 2 of us who tried to get out of AK asap after the Jungle Book show last summer and it took us that long). Then you need to wait on a tram or power walk to your car, another 5-10 minutes.

Once you have parked your car at Ft. Wilderness, you will need to take a bus from the Outpost to the Settlement area (where Hoop Dee Doo is.)

As noted, it is possible, but it will be very tight. Gun it to the gates after the show ends. I wouldnt take a car that day, that adds time to get to it and get out the gate. Rather, I would do a taxi from AK to FW. Taxi pickup is off to the left as you exit Animal Kingdom.

That ride shouldnt be more than 10 minutes or so. Have them take you to Wilderness Lodge, instead of Ft Wilderness, and then grab a shuttle bus from there to the venue.

Doable...but you will be walking in right at showtime, or a bit late, I suspect.

Haha I suppose I should update! I ended up skipping Rivers of Light (which is unfortunate because it was the only time the show didn't have any issues this weekend - although I did see it the next day). In hindsight, I probably would have had enough time since we ended up standing around until precisely 8:30 (taxi wouldn't have been an option, either). That's okay though, because Hoop was awesome, and I still got to see Rivers of Light!
