Ice cream no longer a snack credit?

Wondering if anyone who has used the 2017 dining plan knows if you are still able to use a snack credit at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in MK or Hollywood Scoops in HS? We have always used snack credits in the past for those places but it appears they no longer are part of the dining plan. It's making me re-think having the dining plan, if we can't use snack credits on what we usually get them for the only thing we would be using is our table service credits.

Oh no! :jawdrop:
How do you know they're no longer participating?
Now that they've added the second snack to the DDP, I really hope they haven't cut back on the options.

I do enjoy the ice cream floats and Sundays from auntie gravities in mk for snack credits. Hope this is still a snack. You can get $9 food items in food and wine festival so this would be a surprising change....

According to AllEars, they're still snacks:

Hollywood Scoops: [updated this month]

Plaza Ice Cream: [updated last October]

Neither location is "listed" in the DDP locations because they don't serve meals. They weren't listed in the 2016 brochures either:

Just got back....ice cream, both at the carts and locations that serve "scooped" are still snack credit snacks

So glad it's still covered. Was a little worried when it comes up on the Disney website as not included in the dining plan.

Places that don't serve meals never show up in the Dining Plan. The two venues in your OP only serve snacks.
