how easy is elsa to find and trade? Daughter got her heart set on it and did look on eBay for one but they are all so expensive!

Pins in general are not cheap. Trading for Elsa is not going to be easy. Most of what you find to trade are cheaper pins. Its worth trying, but don't count on finding pins that are more than what you can buy for $4-$5. The more expensive pins are hardly ever on CMs. If you want a specific pin, my advice is to buy it. If you are looking to find sets of the Hidden Mickey series that CMs get, then trading is the best way.

I've never seen popular characters up for trade especially Elsa. Sometimes you can find them for trade at the pin traders place at EPCOT when people are there to trade their duplicates. But they won't trade a good pin for the fakes than can be found on eBay. The serious pin traders can tell when one isn't genuine. There are some pins available on the Shop Disney parks app with prices from $9.99 to $12.99 if you wanted to get one before the trip. When I was there in October, they still had plenty of Anna and Elsa pins throughout the parks and resorts though.

There's a open edition one for around 9$ I think. But I have never found one on a cast member. Not saying it can't happen but it's one of those lucky time and place things. You can find a lot of great pins but frozen stuff, if traded goes fast.

Buy it when you first get there and give it to the resort reservation CM...wait 5 minutes, and walk up there with her...let the CM tell her that Mickey heard she wanted one, and he left it at the counter for her...it will make her day!

Hitting the park early in the day, before lots of guests pour over lanyards, will give you a better shot at scoring hard to find pins. Look for the green lanyards that are open for kids trading only, for her to trade off of, that may increase your odds also. For some reason I've had better luck finding hard to find pins while at EP on CM lanyards the countries shops. Also ask to see the resorts pin boards when you are visiting there, there have been some great finds there because not many guests bother to check them out.
