Another Fantastic Meal at Flying Fish

On Christmas night, my wife and I had ADR's at Flying Fish for 8:45 PM. Semi-vent here, sorry. We live about 8-9 miles from The Boardwalk. It took us over an hour last night to reach it due to the insane amount of traffic near Disney Springs & The 4. It was just crazy. Worse than it was even when they were doing all the construction near Disney Springs.

But I digress ...

They were VERY busy even when we arrived at 9:00 o'clock, though were seated within 10 minute of arriving. And here comes the food!

We started with a few appetizers, the Yellowfin Tuna & the Mesclun Salad. Both were outstanding and I will be going back for the Tuna guaranteed! Sorry, my wife has the pictures of the salad on her phone.

Just for Christmas they had a special of "Surf & Turf" so of course, we went for that! The lobster was a very nice size and as always, the steak was perfect.

For dessert we went with the Panna Carpa. It was delicious!

This has easily become my favourite restaurant on property, with the exception of the Chef's Table at Victoria & Alberts. Since the relaunch we have eaten here four times. Each time was just as good as the last.

I ate at the FF in October and it was good but I felt it was so better before the refurbishment in food quality and ambience. I also miss Bob the waiter. 2nd time wasn't an experience it was just an expensive meal.

What do you all think of the decor/ambience?

FYI for vegetarians: there's a whole vegetarian menu if you ask for it.

The ambiance is pretty good. Some of the tables are a little close together for me. However, we typically dine later in the evening so this has never been a huge issue for us. Everything is perfectly fine. Like I said, this is my new favourite restaurant on property. Outside of the Chef's table at V&A's.
