"Resort Activities" Help Me Narrow This Down!!!

I do not know how to fit all of this in and need advice on what I should remove/keep.

Our scheduled "non park activities" are as follows-

Cabana Rental GF
Pirate Adventure Cruise GF
Sea Raycer Rental GF
Parasailing Sammy Duvall's
Chip n Dale's Sing A Long FW
Carriage Ride FW
Bike Rentals WL
Disney Quest DS (after Animal Kingdom day)
Mini Golf Fantasia Gardens
Golf Session- 45 minute instruction.

I need to scale this down. Originally we had 4 full resort days, now after I added 2 days to our tickets, we only have 2.

I'm thinking I can scratch the Golf instruction, I think kiddo would like it, but golf is golf and I don't know if it's worth the time to do at Disney World. Maybe cut Disney Quest as well? Chip n Dale's? OR cut down on dining-

Currently we have these non park restaurants scheduled-
Narcoosees Dinner
1900 PF Brunch
Garden View Tea Room
Ohana breakfast (must do)
Kona Cafe Dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe Breakfast

I have already cancelled a Chef Mickey's lunch. I'm struggling with Garden View Tea Room, I don't really want to cancel it, but I have no idea how to time manage all of this. I am leaning towards dropping Narcoossee's.

Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!!!

Its always hard cutting things out because there was a desire/ good reason to do them in the first place. I'd go with keeping whatever things you really wouldnt want to miss out on versus things you could put aside for a return trip. What events are things that if you did them would make your trip special/ magical? If it was me, knowing my families likes... I'd keep Parasailing, speed raycers, carriage ride, Pirate cruise, Fantasia Mini golf.

Thanks for the input! Would you remove a couple of ADRs?

I think I'm going to cancel the golf session,1900 PF, and Narcoossee's. Still undecided on Disney Quest.
If I cancel Kona Cafe dinner is there a possibility of getting same day reservations?

Re: Disney quest. How old is your child? Does he/she like computer games? Do you?! If so, are they likely to like retro style games, in a darkish, loud environment? That is my recollection of Disney Quest. Youngest DS wanted to go back last time, at 12, but about an hour was his limit. I was happy to let DH take him, lol, having been once. Oldest, at 16, stayed longer. DH and both DS enjoyed it, being avid gamers. I went shopping and ate ice cream instead! This time, they will probably go, if the "ultimate tickets" include entry. Not sure if they will bother if they have to pay for entry.

I think you can do both para sailing and sea racers at sammy Duvall's. Don't know if that would make it easier?

Can't comment much on your ADRs, sorry.

Personally, @21stamps I would dump the bike rental...doesn't do anything for me lol...with the thought that bikes can be ridden at home.

Also, headed to the post office today. I found one on my way home that is open until 4:30! :D

Wow thank you!!!! Actually I wanted to ask you if I can change to my sister's address if you haven't sent it. I don't want to take a chance of kiddo seeing it.

He's on point with the mail right now.lol

Bicycling at WDW is one of our favorite things to do. In late November, if you ride through the camping loops at Fort Wilderness you should get to see some lovely campsites decorated for Christmas. The ride from WL to FW is scenic and fun. Ride all the loops if you have time, lots to see. I imagine a young boy would really like it. This old boy does.

Don't worry, the bikes are not being removed. I think it will be a nice day, and I can't wait to see the campsites! Sure, we can ride our bikes at home, but not in December :) I'm looking forward to it.

I could say the same about golf, the mini golf is staying because kiddo wants to do Fantasia after seeing photos (we did Mickey's Winter Summerland last time), but the golf instruction is getting removed from the list..it does not include as much quality time as I think the bike ride will.

Well, you just hit on what the bicycling thing at WL/FW is all about...quality time. Yes, you can spend quality time together in the parks, no question. But, quality time riding a bicycle with your son around Disney property is a different kind of quality time, at a more relaxed pace. I think maybe I would call it extra quality time.
Of course, things I find important to me might just be a great big bore to others.

I think so too. Our lives are hectic, the parks are hectic.. not that we didn't have a great time at the parks last year, but there was plenty of stress involved, and I felt like the majority of time I was checking schedules, how much time til our next dining reservation/fast pass/etc. rushing him along.

I'm getting a little sad typing this. Those reasons are exactly why I chose DCL this year. I'm regretting my decision of canceling the Fantasy..but too late now, kiddo chose WDW so WDW it is.

The volcano slide and sea raycers were some of our best moments last year. I think that adding in these non park activities will be just as great (and take his mind off of the fact we aren't staying at Poly like he requested lol). If it was a warmer month then we would just spend time swimming.

Which is why I think you need to dump a few of these activities. Not so much because they won't provide quality time, but you really are trying to cram alot into 2 non-park days. So instead of rushing from ADR to FP, you are rushing from golf to tennis to campfire. Getting from A to B will require time even if you have your own car, so the slack time you may have had gets short real fast. Admittedly, I'm not sure when you are going (think it's in the next few months) but between shorter daylight and cooler temps you start to run out of time to do all the water type activities you have, even if they are all centered at a single location.

Not sure how old your child is but since you were considering the pirate adventure I am thinking under 12. I can say I have a lot of children and at Disney on days off from the parks they really love just hanging out at the pools and resort. The pools are fun and they have lots of activities through the day not only at the pool but sometimes outside it as well (making tie dye shirts, dance parties, a movie, making smores etc) They could honestly hang out for days and not get bored at all. And it cost not an extra penny more !! Plus on your off day it is more like and off day and not a bunch of running around.

Was looking back thru my "pre trip" threads, and didn't see these comments before.
I did take your advice, even without reading them ;) Thanks!
