Any basis in why you think Avatar isn't opening until 2018?

Just gut feeling and the way Disney pretty much as slowed to crawl in mentioning anything about it. I don't think it will be 2018 personally but I do think we are now looking at late next year.

This is one of my favorite threads..mainly because of the tone of positivity and hope.
As far as any actual answers to RoL opening-all I see when I read is -"it's anyone's guess at this point."

I expect we'll get a much better sense of all the details and likely a sense of opening target at the Destination D event taking place in a few weeks. There is a specific session scheduled during that with James Cameron, Joe Rhode etc.. to discuss details of Pandora.

My guess is that came to Holiday Inn(and other off site hotels I'd imagine) in summer and just stayed out in the lobby or whereever they have brochures.

I know FLE's display was in Vistana and maybe the hotel that has the Applebees on 535. I think it was a Holiday Inn. IDK what it's now, I haven't been since 2013. Even the tiny travel store in Elm Grove WI had one! I have no clue how they got it!

Having worked at KI for a handful of years I find the amount of fellow KI'ers/KI attendees on this board great..

It is a great park to have a pass for and hit in the evenings after work. Pound for pound, I would put The Beast up against any coaster anywhere.

Apologies for going off subject for a second- but while at Christmas in July this year I told my son about Winterfest. I was so THRILLED when they announced it for next year a month later!

Most of all we are excited to find out #whatsintheshed next Spring. My kid has asked everyone and anyone at the park. I can handle ROL being delayed (sorry thread people), I don't think I could handle a delay of Mystic Timbers..I have a little boy that I promised we will be among the first in line on opening day to ride it.lol

I believe Mystic is on schedule. I am looking forward to it and the return of Winterfest
