Which one should I request?

Conch Key looks to have the better views, but Boca Chica looks more convenient to everything, especially if we do end up swimming one day..don't want to have a freezing hike back to the room!

Does anyone have theme park view photos from Boca Chica?

I am having trouble finding them via Google :(

You know what's funny?
@Andrew C @bethymouse ? Your names came up in the search..lol @Courtney6682 any words of wisdom?

I stayed in boca chica back in 2012 for my honeymoon. It's on the backside of the resort at least compared to the lobby but near the pool. You can still get a view of the park from it which is what we had. and the water parade passes right by. It seemed quiet over there which was nice. DW and I both loved it.

I don't have any other information about the other building because I haven't stayed anywhere else.

Sago has the best unobstructed TPV of Cinderella Castle. We had a perfect view of the fireworks and could hear the wolf howl from Haunted Mansion while seated on our balcony. It was fun watching the monorail glide by. Sago is also super close to the bus stop and Gasparillas. Though Boca Chica is centrally located, we found ourselves walking more since it wasn't super close to anything except the main pool.

Conch Key has some trees in front of the TPV rooms. We requested Conch, but the CM at check in recommended Sago for the better views and he was right!

I think the views from Sago would be great! My concern is that I would like to be close to either the pool or the the boat launch.

Comparitively, Tuvalu is my favorite building at Poly. I absolutely love the views, the only downside was last year, when I took my son for the first time, the walk around the marina to the room..he fell asleep every time on the boat..and it was a combo of carry, push, and drag to get him back to the room. Ditto on the walk to captain cooks. Neither are a long walk, and on a normal day would be fine, just not very fun with a half sleeping child.

It looks like I may be in that same position if requested Sago Key. Especially a not so great cold walk back from the beach pool if it's semi warm enough to swim.

However, basically you are telling me that the 2 buildings I am debating on Would pretty much result in paying an extra $100 per night for an obstructed view?lol

We were on the side of Sago Cay and all we could see was the monorail, which was cool. So not every room has a view of the park.

Obviously Tuvalu is also my favorite building at the Poly for TPV. ;) :D And I prefer the expansive view of Seven Seas Lagoon, watching the EWP and Wishes from Tuvalu than either Sago or Boca Chica. But Poly is my sentimental favorite and will always score higher than GF on my list.

However, there are many plusses of GF (most comfortable beds, less crowded pools, turn down service) and I'm arriving for a stay there this afternoon.

The walk to the boat dock from Sago was equivalent to the walk from Boca Chica. Each time you come/go from Boca you have to walk around the main pool; there is no shortcut. That's what made the walks seem long even though it is centrally located.

The Beach pool is a longer walk from Sago but as I said earlier it is close to bus and monorail transport and restaurants.

My advice is not to overthink this. Though you have booked TPV, you may not receive your requested building. Big Pine Key also has TPV rooms (on the end facing the lagoon.) Ultimately, wherever your room is, you will have no more than a 5 minute walk anywhere on the grounds since the resort really isn't that big.

Here is the front of Conch Key which faces MK. Notice the tree obstruction for some of the rooms.

In contrast, here is the front of Sago Cay. First floor rooms are suites.

This is the front of Boca Chica. (TPV rooms would be on the other side.) Note the circular walkway around the main pool.
