How busy would Universal be during these times?

Im an AP, I know during december 27th-december 31st at disney are bad but is that a bad time to go to uni? My family is coming and we are skipping disney but i dont want shoulder to shoulder crowds like it is there

Beginning of December will be slow but any time kids are out of school will be busy, so week before will more than likely busy.

we arrived last year on the 29th- it was CRAZY BUSY. Even the EP lines were long. Very, very, busy. Bests being at work though

Literally everything in Orlando, even the grocery stores, is that busy that week. Expect Universal to be equivalent to Magic Kingdom. Huge lines, may need a return ticket to enter Potter, etc.
