We just got a letter in the mail about there being a resort refurbishment going on during our stay at Kidani in September. Has anyone else heard anything about this? Or know what this might entail?

It's a soft goods refurb. We received the same letter for our June trip and just received another later today for our October trip. During our June trip they were in the process of working on the villa next to ours and all we heard was the occasional thud/bump during the early afternoon. Never heard a sound before 9 nor a peep after sundown. Don't sweat it, it was no inconvenience for us at all during our June stay and I doubt it will be one on your trip.

As already said it is a soft goods refurbishment that they do every 7 years. They only work from 9am-5pm to avoid any interruptions and like also said you probably won't even notice it even if you are right next to one being worked on.
