Is there still garbage above the descent and cobwebs hanging down?
Tsk, silly, don't you know the cleaners clean out the cobwebs at night but then the imagineers get really angry because they put the cobwebs there on purpose and then they have to do them again and also put the hidden mickey plates straightIs there still garbage above the descent and cobwebs hanging down?

Ok, I will report back. Please do. Everything Ive found so far still points to Perrin.
Sounds like, but I think Marty may be accurate. I'll dig into it.Vic Perrin did a voiceover for an early EPCOT Center TV special so he was certainly around Disney at the time SSE's recording would have been done. Spaceship Earth's narration sure sounds a whole lot more like Perrin than Dobkin to my ears too.
It is, and clear to see. The hastily added afterthought UV up lights help illuminate it, as do the incar LCDs.Is there still garbage above the descent and cobwebs hanging down?
As well they should!! Those are not cobwebs. That is an art installation, an abstract representation of the World Wide Web. The follow-up to the old Global Network scene. It is, and clear to see. The hastily added afterthought UV up lights help illuminate it, as do the incar LCDs.
It's the long awaited finished descent show scene with abstract art installation called "Neglect" followed by a new fiber-curtain titled "Don't Look Here".As well they should!! Those are not cobwebs. Haha, you're so silly. Disney is way too cheap to give guests masks.pathetic; trash, dust, insulation hanging, they might as call it Air Duct Adventure, masks included for those with allergies.
Was at a WDI talk years ago about the redo of SSE and Marty Sklar himself said it was Vic Perrin. Please do. Everything Ive found so far still points to Perrin.
Kinda makes one wonder about a blog that doesn't know that it hasn't been EPCOT for a number of years and never was EPCOT Central. EPCOT Center, yes. Now I know that it's a picky point, but, if they cannot get something that simple correct, how much credibility does it really have. It wouldn't have bothered me if it wasn't repeated over and over. Anyway, it is a Zombie thread anyway, but, I felt like commenting.
He refuses to refer to EPCOT as Epcot because that is the weirdo nineties trying-to-be-hip-but-failing-hopelessly name. I too still call it EPCOT rather than Epcot94, Epcot95, Boozeland2012 or IPcot2016. Or whatever the Philistines come up with.Kinda makes one wonder about a blog that doesn't know that it hasn't been EPCOT for a number of years and never was EPCOT Central. EPCOT Center, yes. You all right, bro?I probably have the dissenting opinion here, because think the descent works quite well.
I like the choosing your future thing, I think that's really neat. It is also a great way to connect the past to the future and kind of inspire people. So that helps with the bottom part of the descent. I think if there was anything neat to look at during that part, it would only distract from what is on screen.
But the future thing doesn't start right away, it begins after a decent amount of time. And I think that time without anything to look at is important. It allows the riders to listen to Judy and reflect. Unlike most newer rides, Spaceship Earth is powerful and creates a lot to think about. I think it's important to have that time to think before the last part.
In a way, the ending is like a taco shell. It holds the ingredients together and gives them a greater meaning. I like it and I think it works well.
In the end, I'm just grateful that the ride still exists.
The thing about choosing your future is that you already do that on a daily basis. While it's a nice little-personalized ending, it just there for a voided space. It's just there honestly because it seems like they ran out of ideas and the budget. I have never in my times on that attraction used that going down point as a moment of reflection, but then again I know my history. While the overall question for the end of spaceship earth is "What advancements can tomorrow bring?" I would rather have them piping New Horzions on the descent.I probably have the dissenting opinion here, because think the descent works quite well.
