Not happy with Frozen Ever After?

Look, the effects were pretty good the theming was pretty good. But after watching the ride POV I was not very happy. I felt that the way they told the story out of order didn't make sense and yes I know that it's going to help grab attention to the park and everything like that but, after watching this ride POV it just made me miss Melstrom even more. I know a lot of people like Frozen and I respect that but, I just didn't enjoy watching this ride.

Perhaps withhold judgment until you actually ride it for real.

looks interesting. I'm sure riding it will be different then watching a video of it. liked the animatronics. not so much the video screens when u go backwards, but I'll wait till we ride it.
after seeing pics of the crowd, I hope people with fast passes didn't have any trouble getting through in time.

For a hastily thrown together retheme of an existing attraction, I thought it was pretty good. I always thought Maelstrom was very run down and dated anyway. It needed refreshing.
I very much agree, and I respect the fact that you posted that here. Maelstrom was a classic... Sure. But it really was run down, dated.. Even if it was massively upgraded, it still wouldn't have gained any popularity or anything... Frozen OBVIOUSLY is bringing a lot more people to the area than Maelstrom ever did...

It's kind of like the change from Mr. Toad to Winnie the Pooh... Or The Living Seas to Nemo and Crush. Sometimes a mildy-popular classic needs to be upgraded with something that'll get more attention.

The only down side to the Frozen idea replacing Maelstrom is the fact that EPCOT has so much space that was in need of more help than Norway... BUUUT then you think about the fact that Frozen in Norway will get more people into the World Showcase portion of the park now.

It all depends on how you look at it. Frozen was a very good change, but it's not where EPCOT needed a change the most.

They, well universal, built a while Harry potter world part 2 faster than they rethemed this ride. The decision may have been hasty, but that is about it.
