RFC volcano no longer "erupting"?

We are here now, and have noticed lately that the volcano effect for Disney Spring's Rainforest Café is no longer erupting those "fireballs" like it used to. It still makes the sounds periodically, and blows steam, but not the fire effects. Did they change this recently? We have only been during the late afternoon, so maybe it is only done at night. Has anyone else seen the full fire eruption recently?

I was there about 4 weeks ago and saw the full fire eruption. It was at night when I saw it (not sure if that makes a difference) ... maybe somethings broken?
