Is raw sugar only at deluxe resorts?

A few weeks ago I did a split stay between AKL and CBR... I noticed AKL has raw sugar packets at Mara but not at CBR. Wondering if this is just a deluxe thing or if Disney is in the process of including this at all resorts and just didn't make it to CBR yet.

Yes
Aside from taste there's very little difference between the two nutritionally (digestion and metabolism you body cant tell the difference between the two 99.6% Sucrose for table sugar vs 97% for "raw". "Raw" sugar is a marketing term since its not chunks for sugar cane or beets in the package, its been heavily processed . "Raw" sugar just still has the molasses component in it and more moisture so you get less of it in a packet. Same caloric content.

Calories or nutritional value is not my concern. It is the taste I prefer, I find it a little less sweet and use a small amount just to cut down on the bitterness of my coffee. Luckily I'm not as snobby about my coffee as I am with my alcohol lol.

I agree it tastes better in coffee than refined imo,two years ago they had it at Riverside Mill food court at PORS.

Not to sound like a jerk. But is it really that important? Stick a few packs in your bag then you won't be disappointed.
Not "important" just something I was curious about. Coffee is coffee and if I'm in need I'll drink it completely black if I have to lol.
