I have a college friend who has a girlfriend who lives in Germany (they met in high school when she was an exchange student at his school). She's coming to the States for two weeks, and she was supposed to get here at 5. Now her flight got delayed in London and she's not going to get here until 10:30, and he's stuck at an airport an hour away from here waiting for her. I worked an entire shift in that time.

When we bought our house the first thing we did was gut the upstairs bathroom. I went to the store and when I came home hubby had driven his red Ford pickup truck across the grass and parked in front of the front door to unload the new bathtub. The old tub and toilet were on the lawn next to the truck. I took one look at the scene and thought, "Oh yeah - the neighbors HATE us".

Considering it is only about 6.5 hours flight time across the ocean that it a very long delay.

In general I have no idea. I'm not that good of friends with him, but I'm assuming well because they've been dating since high school, so probably 3 or 4 years!
