Magical Express Luggage Delivery Question

I'm visiting Disney for two days, followed by a Royal Caribbean cruise out of Port Canaveral. I think it'd be easiest to get to Port Canaveral with a rental car, which I plan to pick up at the airport (and just park at the resort until it's time to leave for the cruise). I've also looked into picking up a rental at the resort, but that seems more complicated (and won't save me any money).

Can I use the Magical Express to deliver my luggage (so I don't have to wait for it at the airport and try to juggle the luggage plus my toddler) even if I don't take the shuttle? I'm guessing not, but I wanted to double check.

I do not think you can use the luggage delivery service unless you utilize the magical express bus. I would contact magical express to ask but I'm pretty sure you have to use the full service not just one part of it

Officially the answer is no, they require at least one member of your party to ride the bus in order for your luggage to be transported. Actual practice may be different. I once had a situation where my luggage made a morning flight but due to overbooking I did not. They did transport my luggage without me having been checked into Magical Express. That trip my luggage was in my hotel room before I set foot in the state of Florida.
