At The Brick (a furniture/appliance store chain) they have me registered as Jenniger. Since 2002.
I have bought more than $10K worth of stuff from them as "Jenniger". It's grown on me.

Ha! Reminds me of nice gentleman from China, who works in a local travel agency. A couple of my bosses travel to China 3-4 few times a year, so we deal with him directly for flights and hotels. For the past 7 years, he's known me, but could never pronounce my name. It always sounded like Mindy to him (that's not my name--not even close . . .). So after a while I "adopted" my new name when I called the travel agency. If another agent answers, I ask if they'll transfer me to him; and they ask who's calling and I say, "Tell him it's Mindy!" :hilarious:

I had a friend named Elizabeth in high school who had an Asian dentist and he pronounced her name "Arrizareff"! We thought it was hilarious. :D
