I realized my family has a certain pattern when attacking MK after rope drop. We always go to Adventureland first to hit POTC and then kind of work clockwise to Frontierland, Liberty Square and Fantasyland until we're done with Tomorrowland. Then we double-back and do random stuff for the rest of the day.

I wonder if everyone else is doing the same....

Do you always use a pattern? Do you always start in the same place?

I don't do either clockwise or counter - I go to whatever's hot (and thus will have long lines later in the day), and then letting my FP+ schedule determine where I go. I don't mind doubling back if I have to, as long as I'm not spending long times in lines!

We don't really have a set pattern for MK. It depends on what that day's priorities are.. but we always go counter clockwise at the World Showcase at EPCOT.. so much so that it is weird for me when Mexico is listed first.. since it is always last, the way we go..

No clock directions as there are more options than following a curvilinear path. Usually at EMH rope drop since Fantasyland was expanded its straight to 7DMT for sub-hour ride wait, then follows ADRs and fast passes.

Clockwise is the natural and chronological progression but once you've done Disney a couple times it doesn't matter.

I do think the problem with going counter clockwise is that if you get to Disney late (not right at opening) then by the time you get to Tom Sawyer's Island it is already closed due to dusk. Since that's the only attraction that closes early it makes more sense to go clockwise if those are the only two options.

We tend to go the opposite of the crowd. For example, when SDMT was new and everyone headed there first thing, we went to our old time favorites like IASW. Same way with Soarin' Early morning crowd heads there we just go to the other side of FW.

We don't do MK in any particular order. We usually have FPs setup, so that can dictate where we go first, but other than that...we just walk around the park and do what we feel like doing.

I voted where my fast pass tells me to go and we're heading to the back first. I will probably do a fast pass for 7DMT early and try to knock out Peter Pan and Pooh beforehand.

We do the exact thing. Before fp+ we would go in and climb the treehouse, ride pirates and then go get a FP for thunder mountain. Ride splash, get lunch and hit up thunder mountain. Haunted mansion, philarmagic, Winnie the pooh, barnstormer, fp for SpaceMountain, barnstormer again, astro orbitor, buzz, Space and then random.

In that order almost everytime

Almost always clockwise, but sometimes we start in Liberty Square instead of Adventureland since LS is my favorite part of the park. I enjoy going across the LS bridge and through the entrance at Sleepy Hollow.

Our attack changes when FP+ came about. we used to go straight to Fantasyland then head over to Frontierland. Take railroad to Tomorrowland, then hit Adventureland. Now we base on our fastpasses.

Although it changes up based on certain factors (FP, Time of Year/Events, etc..) My preferred path is Adventureland to Tomorrowland.

Jungle Cruise, Pirates and the overall vibe in AL has always seemed better to me during the daylight hours. Tomorrowland to me has always been a better experience when all lit up and at night and the dance party is going on.

Again, it varies. I always make it a point to do Jingle Cruise at night and adversely I've always felt Tomorrowland speedway was best experienced during daylight hours. Mansion gives off a better vibe at night. Splash to me, at the beginning and the end, when you're outdoors I prefer in daylight, although every once in a while I'll hit at night.

Before it was random, but recently we've been going clockwise starting in Adventureland. It's a ghost town over there at rope drop. So we do Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Splash, Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion and typically use FP for Peter Pan, Buzz and Seven Dwarfs (which FPs have started to become easier to come by recently).

Makes for a pretty good day. Then we usually head home in the afternoon.
