Arrive 15 mins early ask & say you are prepared to wait, however tables are very limited & they will only allow you to wait for a short amount of time as they want to get the food served in good time & they will only allow you wait at all if they think there is a realistic chance that such a table will become available. They do pause when serving your food if you are still eating when the fireworks start. Be aware the entire contents of the restaurant will stand up & come to the windows to watch anyway so a window seat isn't critical.
Well done for getting such a good reservation at this late stage. I wish it was me instead of you.
It's hard to do on a regular night as I know from experience (even requesting and willing to wait) so it probably will not happen but hey Disney Magic happens every day in WDW! Be prepared that it won't happen so if it does so much the better!!![]()
Makes sense, thanks! It's an improvement over my previous ADR (San Angel), so I'm willing to take my chances.
I've been checking availability since we made the decision to commit to spending NYE in the parks, so I'm going to go ahead and just attribute this to persistence and dumb luck.
We'll be indoors away from the crowds enjoying what I'm hearing is some pretty serviceable sushi (though nothing compared to our dinner at Cali Grill two nights ago) with a chance to see my favorite Disney show of all time leading up to midnight. Sounds pretty magical to me!
