Where to get the Christmas Magic Bands

Like the title states.

I've seen recently some WDW related pages on facebook post up magic bands with a Christmas theme to them but didn't pay attention because I wasn't sure about this last minute trip. Well the trip is booked and we arrive tomorrow now lol. I'm sure upon check in we will get the basic grey magic band but do I need to buy the Christmas bands before checking in or can the transfer my info over from the grey band? I'm assuming I can buy the Christmas bands in Disney Springs? TIA

They can transfer your information to the new band when you purchase it - and I'm almost positive I saw them at Disney Springs in the pin store (among other places).

Thank you. We plan on checking in and then going to Disney Springs anyway so I'll be on the look out for them.

The information is not actually 'on' the band but linked to your My Disney Experience Profile. When you purchase the new band, they can active it on your profile and then both bands will have the same privileges and capabilities.

I remember seeing this one - I'm not sure of other designs. For some reason I am thinking some are Christmas Party purchases only? I'm not sure though.

That's true. I didn't even think about that.

The website says it is a limited edition run of 2,500 and yet I was able to put it in my cart weeks after release - it seems hard to believe 2,500 weren't sold already. I can't recall if I saw this in the parks.
Yea, it allowed me to add 2 to my cart also and I would just buy them and get them sent to my house but I leave tomorrow morning lol. Typical guy waiting til the last minute to try and do something lol.
This particular design doesn't show up in the Shop Disney Parks app, so it may be gone from property.

The red sweater design posted earlier shows availability all over property, but it's a buy-in-store only item.

I gotcha. Yea I might just get the red sweater design, it's still holiday related.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Okay had to delete my previous response. Let's try this again. Lol
The band you wanted is an online exclusive (says so in the info on the store site) made for Walt Disney World with the LE of 2500.
So unfortunately your only way to have gotten it or still get it is to order it online with the Disney Store.
Disney Store is not associated with parks merchandising and usually buys select merchandise from them to sell online. This particular one they are marketing it only for DisneyStore.com so you will not be able to get it in time for your trip or at the parks at all.
They do sell a special LE band for the MVMCP but you have to attend a party to purchase it. So your only option is the sweater design which is cute by the way.
Hope you have a wonderful trip though!!! ;)

If you look at the product details it says Online Exclusive so unlike most parks items sold on DisneyStore.com this one is not also sold in the parks but was made exclusively to sell online for Walt Disney World. They never usually do this for park merchandise but did in this case unfortunately. :(

I can understand how there would be some left at the $29.95 price.
