Start Your Day with a Wild Feast
Dine amidst the flora and fauna as the sun rises over the world-famous Jungle Cruise in Adventureland.

Becoming a Jungle Cruise skipper is no easy task. It takes years of training and practice—or at least a boat and a megaphone. In the interest of grooming newest batch of recruits—totally unrelated to rumors of skippers joining the local tribe of headhunters—we invite you to our Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure.

As your journey begins, you’ll meet your safari guide and make your way into the African savannah. There you’ll dine on a wild assortment of unique breakfast favorites inspired by the jungle diet of the rare “brunching tiger,” including fresh pastries, exotic fruit & chia parfaits, glazed pork belly bacon, pan-seared sausage and roasted gold potato & onion hash along with an assortment of juices, freshly brewed coffee and specialty teas.

After your feast is finished, your guide will escort you back to civilization in time for a private ride on the Jungle Cruise to hone your skipper skills before the park opens to the public.

To certify these brave explorers as officially unofficial Jungle Cruise skippers, each Guest will receive a special Tribal Mask keepsake to commemorate their adventure.

Price

$300 per Guest, includes tax and gratuity. No discounts may be applied.

They didnt mention if you got to keep your head or not.

Not needed. You obviously have already lost your head if you have paid this amount per person for what amounts to a continental breakfast albeit at the Jungle Cruise with a mask.

Did anyone else note the time? If you follow the link and try to make a reservation, you see that the time daily is at 5:30 in the morning. That in itself is insane. I actually looked for it as the article kept saying that it was all before park opening. It says you are requested to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your seating -- so 5:00. It also says that even after your experience, which does NOT include park admission, you will be escorted back to exit the park, and that IF you had also purchased a park pass you would be able to come back in once the park opened.

So, not only is the price insane, it happens at an insane time in the morning, and you must also buy separate admission should you want to do anything else.

I think the experience is really cool, but it is overpriced. I am really glad it isn't going to be offered for the time period I will be there as I would be really tempted to do it even though it is really expensive.

Personally I think this stunt couldn't be any more stupid. Even if it were half the price it would be stupid.

I might find half price not so stupid, but it really depends on what else is involved and the description is so vague I can't imagine anyone going for this unless they add more details.
