Magic Kingdom FastPass+ Reservation Help

Hi All,

My SO and I will be going to WDW in a few months (62 days to be exact :)) and we have all of our FP+ choices narrowed down, but with the Magic Kingdom being SO vast, we're having trouble choosing our reservations. Some info that may help; only two adults will be on the trip, Space Mountain and the Electric Parade have always been my favorite, so we've settled on those. We're staying on property, so we have Magic Hours and won't be getting into the park until noon; 12 hours seems like more than enough when you don't have kids. Is the 7 Dwarfs Mine Ride any good? Would you recommend the Ariel ride for adults (one of whom is a huge Little Mermaid fan)? Any other suggestions are very much welcomed! Thank you!

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Even as adults 12 hours is enough for the day (usually never spend more than 12 hours in any park each day lol) BUT not enough to enjoy all of what MK has to offer. Lol Some will say different but definately the case for me and DH. Even just me and DH spend multiple days in MK, Epcot, and AK. Even the lesser popular HS we usually do at least 1.5 days total there.
Second I personally would never use a FP for a parade as there is plenty of good spots to watch it without having to line up ahead of time etc.
Third ALL rides are still wonderful for adults to enjoy as what Walt intended for his parks. I always do Little Mermaid, Dumbo, 7DMT (you will need a FP for that and would reccomend one for Little Mermaid as well), It's a Small World, Peter Pan, etc etc. We have no children and ride anything and everything we want, and do things like Enchanted Tales with Belle(would do this at least once if you never have before). You said you love The Little Mermaid so it should be no question as to why you would not want to ride it.
The FP I feel are neccessary if you want to ride them in MK is 7DMT, The Little Mermaid, Space and Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, A&E meet and greet, Splash Mountain, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Aerial's Grotto, Dumbo sometimes, etc.
Also some rides will have little to know waits the later it gets during EMH evenings. :)

Thanks for the recommendations. The only things that I have absolutely no desire to do is Dumbo(had a bad experience on it as a kid) and the Frozen meet and greet. I definitely want to check out the new Ariel ride and now that you mention it, Enchanted Tales w/Belle; I didn't even know that was a thing! I recently saw Beauty and the Beast for the first time in 15 years, so I'm especially amped to see Belle. God help my poor boyfriend...

Lol! Well I hope you both have a wonderful time!!! Me and DH will be there 10/13-10/26. So I think our dates overlap towards the end. I made our FP+ ressies last Friday, well Thursday night 11pm my time. :)

I did ours Monday night for our 8 days, I couldn't get a FP for Anna and Elsa until our last day. That is crazy!!
My granddaughter would have been sooo upset if we would have missed that... And I also was on at 11:00 pm our time(12 eastern)
to get everything we wanted.

I agree a FP+ on the parade is a waste of a FP+. It does give you a nice view but you can find great not crowded spots along the parade route (check out Frontierland). For FP+ I must recommend Splash Mountain, 7D ride (is good but quite short would not wait in the long line for it) and Space Mountain. Thunder Mountain Railroad and Meeting Mickey and Minnie are also great FP+ uses. We just left MK and spend 2+ days at MK. Also don't forget once you use your 3 you can visit a MyMusic+ kiosk to recieve another FP for rides that are available once you use that one you can revisit a kiosk from another one and so on...
