Parking the Surrey Bikes at the Boardwalk

All the times I have been to the Boardwalk and the Beach Club, I have never rented one of the surrey bikes. Do any of you all know if there are spots to "park" the surrey bikes at the boardwalk, so we could go in the shops, etc. without having to worry about someone stealing the bike?

Thanks

Honestly, the rental period is for such a short time (around 45 minutes) it wouldn't make sense to park and walk around. Also, there is only one shop on the Boardwalk; the rest are dining establishments. You are required to keep the bike on the big wide path (no detouring to Swan/Dolphin area or Epcot's International Gateway). And a surrey bike is much harder to maneuver than it appears ~ the hills around Crescent Lake can be exerting ~ for that reason alone, DO NOT rent if it is hot or humid! The temperature can mean the difference between a pleasant ride and a workout :in pain:!

There are no designated spots to park the bikes. In the times I've rented them, they've always instructed us to stay on the path in the same direction. And then have said our rental time allows for appx 3 loops around, depending on how fast/slow we are. I'm not sure if we would have been allowed to park them to shop, but the CM who rents the bikes to you would be able to tell you. And I agree with @Tuvalu about the pleasant ride vs a workout! :)
