The Epcot Manifesto
I know it's not for everyone, but the design style that they did for these just hits me perfectly. The mix of mid-century modern AND Tiki related? I can't handle it. The green subway tile on the backsplash? The electric light parade piece? The Tiki Room artwork? It's like they were building it with me in mind!

The only thing is, I think they may have missed the fact that I'll never be able to afford one. Oh well. I'll look at the pictures and drool, and potentially steal some ideas for remodeling a future home. :cautious:

Ok, they do look rather nice inside. Not $2100+/night nice, but nice all the same.

Also, anyone else find it amusing that it's raining on the day of the previews? Just to reinforce that, no, these aren't anywhere close to the real thing in Polynesia.

It all looks very nice. I'll never be able to afford to stay there, but they did do a nice job. I suppose the small amount of these alone would make them cost more.

Both the color of the backsplash in the kitchen and the seat cushion on the hanging chair outside on the deck remind me of those giant teal/wicker chairs that were in the Poly lobby back in the day. Hit a very nostalgic spot in me with those. And the water pageant artwork - I may need a high res photo of that so I can frame it for my living room.

EDIT: These chairs:

Yes they are unheated plunge pools.

Pardon my ignorance - but they are filtered chlorinated pools? Not Bay Lake water (similar to how a cruise ship uses sea water - at least that's how it was explained to me?) I feel kind of stupid asking. I see there is a vent in the bottom so I am assuming filtered.
