hi there - sorry if this in the wrong place but does anyone know if the desert party thing is running past the 4th of july? my family is trying to book it for later in our trip (we get to orlando on the 13th of july - but i dont know when they want to do it) but there is currently no sign of that date changing so they asked me if i could post and ask about it.

Thank you :)

Wow, we'll enjoy our last ever visit to this at the end of march. I thought $97 for our family of four was a bit steep. This would be closer to $200.

That said, things change. I was always surprised how (relatively) cheap this was.

It was a wonderful experience last time and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to park my feet under a real chair and have some hot tea on a cold night--without being jostled by pedestrians looking for their "spot." I could enjoy the show and talk with some nice strangers while the crush to the exit went on outside. I'll admit to being a spoiled old lady. But "upscale" in a theme park, that's not for me.
The enhanced version is beyond my sensibilities.
And I'm sure it'll be a capacity event each night. Whatev. Y'all let me know when they roll out the climatecontrolled recliners...I'll hold out until then.

Question: "I must have missed something. What are the enhancements again (other than the cost)?"

Answer: "The atmosphere, dessert menu and beverage offerings will be enhanced with the new Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party."

:D... it is in the same location, features a few character cupcakes, hot chocolate, and cider... still not worth double the price.
When first reading the description of the enhancements I thought for sure it must include some type of alcohol. Wow, no liquor at that price :eek:

LOL. Right over the bloggers' collective heads. It actually seems like there will be FEWER dessert offerings, but the addition of cheese (sitting out in 88 degrees six months of the year) and nicer drinks (we will see if they can pull off good drinking chocolate. I've never seen it at WDW, just the Nescafé hot chocolate).

Sorry to sound stupid but whats the difference between Wishes Firework Desert Party and Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party? They are both listed on the reservations page of WDW website. I have booked Wishes Firework Party for October, does that mean I wont be able to see Celebrate the Magic? Really confused  Sorry never been to WDW so have no idea what happens in the evenings. Thanks

They are the same, except for price. "Tomorrowland Terrace" is ending, is being renamed to "Wishes", and the price, is increasing to $49 and apparently more desserts but no adult beverages.

See http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/wish...ty-brings-new-offerings-and-higher-price-.htm
