Can anyone tell me what you get on the DDP. We are on the standard plan. I know you get a quick service meal and snack but was wondering if you get appetizer as well as an entree and dessert with the table service meal or not as some websites say you do and others not. Plus if an appetizer is not included can you have one instead of the dessert?

Welcome to WDWMAGIC! The standard Dining Plan, offers one table service, one quick service and one snack per person in your party. For table service meals, you are offered a non alcoholic beverage, an entree and dessert. Appetizers are not included, nor is alcohol, but you can pay out of pocket for them. In my experiences, appetizers cannot be swapped out for desserts.

First off Welcome!!!! . I second what Deb said and want to add one bit of info. The Deluxe Dining plan is the one that includes an appetizer so that might be the dining plan some sites were talking about having an appetizer included. Many people abbreviate it like this DDP (Deluxe Dining Plan) so it confuses people because that could also be an abbreviation for Disney Dining Plan (regular plan). Lol

Welcome! I find the standard dining plan is often more than enough.
