The Look of the Characters in the Early Days of WDW

I put this post of images from the early days of WDW with particular emphasis on the characters. I find it interesting to see how much the walk around characters have changed through the years. The Pooh costume is odd with the Honey Pot hat. Dumbo is also quite odd looking...

I soooo much prefer the new sleek characters look over the old extremely large plastic type looking heads. If you go back even earlier and find a photo of the 7 dwarfs that Walt had at the premiere of SW&7D movie youll see how even more awkward they look. Must have been terribly uncomfortable to wear those old costumes.

Love the old photos, thank you for posting them. In the 7th photo on your site, some of the characters look exactly the same now! (Brer Bear, Tigger, and a few others)
