Interesting post on the rules that Disney Employees need to follow while in character ...

Is the first one true at all? I've had plenty of cast members answer my questions last time I went.
The social media one isn't true at all; it's very common to talk about what you do at Disney under your job listings or just status updates about what happened at work that day.
What they posted was a distortion of the actual rules. The character people aren't supposed to talk about what they do while a character.. and disney CMs aren't supposed to talk about internal-only or things not published. Basically, confidentiality and characters aren't supposed to break the image...
The one about saying "I don't know" was very poorly written. What it means is that they CAN answer questions, but if they don't know the answer, they're supposed to direct you to another CM who may know, or call/research the answer (within reason).
Note that this doesn't apply to CMs who are in positions where safety is more important (i.e. ride operators/dispatchers, parade spotters).
Definitely guilty of doing that last year...I always love when the new DCP kids start bloating Instagram with their costume pics. #sweettieforartshop #theselooklikepajamas
