HM Bride's Ring missing....

I was at the Haunted Mansion yesterday. Every time I'm in the queue I glance down at the ring on the floor before entering the mansion. To my surprise, the ring was gone. It looked like someone pried it out of the ground! Does anyone know what happened?

I'm pretty sure the ring was in the ground around the hearse carriage not in the actual queue.

That was the old "ring" which was really just a pole that had been cut off. When they redid queue and put in an actual ring in the ground.

I am speaking of the ACTUAL ring in the queue. NOT the fake one by the horse carriage. The photo you just posted (with the real ring) is no longer there.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't an actual ring but the CMs use to tell people that was the Bride's ring and for the longest time that was the story.

That's a shame. Someone else made a similar post awhile back about it being missing too. I wonder if it's been gone this whole time?

I saw it was gone back in June. I asked a CM and she said the ghosts where polishing it.

here is a recent photo

That photo looks like they might have filled it in with floore polish or something. It's hard to tell what happened, but it seems like there is a discoloration in the shape of the ring but still filled to be level to the ground. I wonder what really happened?

The other thread says that it was stolen. If so, it just looks like the hole was subsequently filled in with floor wax or some cement patch, but it is odd that if it were done on purpose it would still have the discoloration in shape of the ring.
