How much longer does Siemens have sponsorship with Spaceship Earth?

the never finished descent
As I said, I have the feeling that the descent is exactly what was planned and that they are happy with it, as are a lot of visitors. What you see is the finished product. I'm not overwhelmed by it, but, to me it is just as interesting as the old one. At least I have something to do while falling backwards to my death.:jawdrop::joyfull:

It wasn't finished at all, there was originally going to be things to see in the descent outside of the ugly Jetsons flash cartoon. Ask Martin, he'll tell you (might even be info about it in one of his tributes). Those triangles for instance scattered about apparently were intended to be used for video, they just ran out of money and left it incomplete. There was probably more intended as well.

Spaceship Earth never needed to be touched in the first place. I like the new audioanamtronics - but I could have did without Judi Dench and while others seem to like the computer view of the future - its boring and its already outdated.

WondersOfLife

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
And what if there is no other potential sponsor. Do you really want that. Be careful what you wish for!
True, could be worse.

Meanwhile, in the un-sponsored areas of the park.....

The only thing SSE needs is a new narrator, Dench is absolutely awful. An actual ending would be nice, but I'll forgo it to get Jeremy Irons back.

I don't get why spaceship earth needs a sponsor anyway. Sort of makes sense for something like Test Track. But I don't understand the need for sponsorship on SSE.

Well if it didnt it could end up like wonders of life, though I doubt it being at the front and center of the park, but still.
