Boy, we didn't have cable, vhs, dvds but we did have some great cartoons. I loved Saturday Mornings. Was so glad when they changed religious CCD classes to weekdays and not on Saturday Morning.

I remember growing up hating to get up to get ready for school...but come Saturday mornings I'd be up at 5:00 am for the first cartoons.

I still have a bunch. I used them for school in elementary and middle school until I finally got a flash drive because some of the computers wouldn't support a floppy and Powerpoints were too large for a floppy. I used them at home for a while for writing stories on the computer and such, but I stopped using them entirely after I got my laptop (2009). Some computers at my high school, at least when I left, still had floppy drives.

Boy I can't remember when we had floppy's in our schools. At minimum I'd say 10 years but betting it is longer.

We saw a lot the Schoolhouse Rock cartoons in school. My freshman year of high school our English teacher was gone for something and we watched the Conjunction Junction one...

Cottonwood...I haven't noticed it yet...next door there are two Cottonwood trees and when they start my front yard looks like snow has fallen.

Our severe weather season has been delayed up here, likely from the prolonged winter. We haven't really gotten much aside from a couple nights with t-storms. I assume tornado watches and warnings will start becoming more frequent sometime soon. Regardless, stay safe!
