Went to art fest but couldn't find a single spot to park. Ended up coming home, grabbing the dog and taking re for a nice long walk in a very pretty neighborhood.

Definitely art feasting tomorrow evening. It shouldn't be as crowded and the forecast calls for rain. I love rainy days at the art fest. People don't want to melt, so they stay in!

Kicking back now with a few adult beverages and Orange is the New Black. I love this show.

As far as a boyfriend goes...well, I'm not rushing to find one just for the sake of having one. I've never had one (I had other things I was worried about in high school, even though I kept getting flirted with and asked out, I also never went to school dances including prom...) and that's okay with me. Just haven't met the right guy yet. Besides, all of my friends are single, so we can do stuff together

Smart girl. Boys are overrated, anyway. :D ;) :)

Your parents had a similar way of life to my grandparents, when they were growing up in Ireland (before they emigrated to the U.S. when they were in their early 20s). In Ireland, they lived on farms, worked with the livestock, and worked in the fields, daily. Their food was all natural, and all meals were home-cooked. They also used a lot of butter and fat in her cooking methods back then, not to mention potatoes every day!

What I find interesting is that the pictures of all the relatives, cousins, etc., back then showed every single person to be of average size. No one had any extra weight on them. My grandmother used to tell me that all the kids thought nothing of walking miles each day—whether for school, playing with their friends, or church on Sunday. It was just a more well-rounded, healthier lifestyle back then. (Nowadays, we sit on our butts in front of computers! ) I also don't think they ate as much ice cream as I do . . .

Yep, all sounds VERY familiar. Very cool! :)

Also, that last part about Ice cream reminded me of some great memories of all the times we used to make it homemade in a hand cranked ice cream maker on the front porch at both grandparents...YUM-O-RAMA...!!! :hungry: :joyfull:

Stay away from those CMs in the Morocco Pavilion woman.
I've had them flirt with me before. Pretty harmless though. Guess I've been fortunate. Last time it was random guys...including the one European guy walking into Epcot through international Gateway who wanted to kiss Bestie. Well, he didn't fool around; he went straight to the point!

I'm way behind and trying to catch up. Sorry.

The Arts Festival was amazing but I put off buying prints until today. There's a select handful that I love and I'm ok with eating ramen for a while to support art. I'm going back this evening.

So far today I've got my entire to -do list accomplished and now I'm celebrating by parking it on the couch and watching Henry Rollins teach me history because he's sexy. Even with solid white hair.

I went to the bank, the grocery store, Target, cut the dogs fur, shaved the cat so she doesn't over heat in the house, washed the dog outside, weeded the garden, watered the plants, mowed the lawn and got a shower.

List, accomplished. I'm beat. And sunburnt.

Wow! You're a machine!
Sounds like you had a great day and got a lot done. Awesome! :)
