Military Tickets no longer blacked out for Magic Kingdom July 4th

Never started a thread in this forum before (that I can recall) and searched but didn't find this elsewhere. If I am mistaken on this please let the arrows fly, I can take it.

Apparently Military Tickets were blacked out for July 4th admission to the Magic Kingdom until recently. I am in disbelief at how this could have slipped by someone as a good idea. It's like holding a tournament for the amazing wheelchair basketball teams in this country in an arena without handicap seating or accessibility.

So they've always been blacked out on July 4th? I, uh, I... And I've never served in the military, and can look longingly at military DCL discounts, but this does not seem in any way, shape, form or fashion, acceptable.
