Luckily, I'm all caught up (for this week, anyway ;)) and ahead of schedule. And, WOOOHHOOOOO!!!!! Tomorrow is Half-day Friday, so I should be outta' there by 1-ish...!!!!!!! :joyfull:

Hope I didn't just jinx that... :cautious:

En masse decisions by bean counters drive me crazy. At work, all the main offices have their own fax machines (which are shared by multiple people in each unit). System works fine for all. So, we get this order from the mgmt. company that runs the hospital, that all fax machines have to go, and everyone will now have to use their unit's xerox machine for faxing as well. They'll set up a new fax line for that.

Granted, faxes aren't used as much as before. However, my issue is that they are going to remove perfectly good machines, with plenty of toner still in them (and more toners in supply closets), and send them off to landfills. We had no advance notice of this, as we would have at least suggested that they let us use the machines until such time as the toner ran out.

Plus, all the office stationery, and business cards, for all our executives will need to be printed with a new fax #. We just had a reorder of our current stationery 2 weeks ago, and now all that will have to be dumped into the recycle bin. What a waste.

They won't even save much $ on the current fax phone lines by cutting them, because they get those lines for peanuts, due to the huge number of all phone lines (bulk discount) throughout the organization.

Rant over. I need the weekend to calm my nerves. Carry on.

Looking better than she did back in 2010 when she looked like Cruella even if she is addressing her masculine side. Looking better for her 50th Birthday. Seems the first plastic surgeon was replaced.

Hard to believe Born in the USA is a 30 year old song now.

She was in the Dancing in the Dark video .;)

Some idiot broke into someone's car while drunk and left his phone and shoe in the car. The owner logged into his Facebook from the phone and started insulting him. Luckily I have 2 mutual friends who commented so I could see the moron get his comeuppance.

My favorite is the guy who recently robbed a convenience store and grabbed a bag of Cheetos on the way out. The bag snagged on something and the cops just followed the trail of Cheetos to the guy's apartment. Or the guy who robbed a convenience store shortly after a small snowstorm. When the cops arrived there was one set of footprints in the snow leaving the store and leading to the guy's apartment.

Now that is fun.

That is an interesting name on the bottle!

Actually, that was my point. (sorry for not being clear)

DiCaprio has incredible acting skills, But I mean many actors are selected because of their model body/face.

DiCaprio was first selected because he was just a pretty model back (just like many others.. like brad pitt)

They of course, did learn how to act and improved.. giving Oscar-level acting in many of their movies.

But these are few and rare.. most just fade or keep doing pretty face movies.. (like Transformers favorite girl "Megan Fox" or Twilight's Kristen Stewart)

Agree. But I think he is one of the "exception of the rule".

I loved Leo as the runaway on Growing Pains.

Shortly after my next door neighbor dude chose to go nightie night forever in his own home, I noticed late at night so many police cars in the driveway where his now widow was inside. I called over to see if she was OK. She was in the back of the house and didn't know the sheriff was on her driveway. Her house and her neighbors are pretty close together. I went over to be with her but the police were not telling us what happened.

The sheriff was taking photo's of the snow footprints and tire tracks. During the night a Birth Mom and her boyfriend got into the house through a window and stole a toddler that she no longer had lost custody of. It was fresh snow and they walked the tire tracks to where the twits and the baby were.
