I hear ya!
Hope I'm not pushing my luck here, but IMO, "" is not really a swear word unless followed by "hole".

And WHY do Hollywood movies played on t.v. bleep "mother", but let the other, actual curse word through?

Forgot to tell you - Hubby's Visa was declined at Wegman's today, our last stop of the day.

Earlier in the day, we had used it at 3 separate stores at Eastern Hills Mall, and then Delta Sonic for gas. And then 20 minutes later ... declined.

Turns out our card was compromised at an unspecified merchant location, and poof, Visa shut it down. The card has now been cancelled, and a new one is coming in the mail.

So, yay!

Visa's advice - keep all receipts from this trip to compare against the bill when it comes. And next time, call before we leave the province.
Whatever.

I honestly wonder the same.
some words that are very usual in some places are instantly curse words in others.
Its even worse now thanks to the "connected world" thing. Where members of every part of the world can share opinions.
