MK SDMT What will the normal wait be?

Just curious if anyone has an idea of what a typical normal wait time will be for the SDMT? I know it will be high for quite awhile since it's new, but what do you think a range would be after things settle down? I guess I'm asking because a ride like TSMM always has incredible wait times and was wondering what the SDMT might be like one day. Any thoughts? Wonder what the ride capacity an hour is?

Well over an hour on an average attendance day. If Peter Pan can see 40-60 minute wait times on a routine basis, this could easily be double that.

I'm not sure if anyone here knows the exact rider per hour capacity is yet... it depends on whether or not they were able to work out the timing to maximize the number of trains in use (I have seen reference to this numerous times on the threads here). So it's going to vary pretty significantly based on how well they are timing boarding and unboarding the ride.

Either way, it'll be a good long while before the normal wait time is less than an hour, and it'll probably be more than that for the foreseeable future (at least that's my best guess!)

With 5 trains that would be one train dispatched every 36 seconds which is 100 dispatches per hour. Each train has 5 cars with 4 riders per car so that gives us best case 2000 riders per hour. Actual millage may vary.

Ya I would say more like 30 sec to 1 minute depending on the type of guests loading the ride at the time??? 20 seconds seems insane for a coaster to dispatch that quick...

Peter Pan level waits, IMO. The kind of ride you either do at rope drop or with FP+.

20 seconds might be low, but if they want to have five trains running they have to load in around 30 seconds. The mine ride is only 2:39 long, so if it took 2 minutes to load they would only be able to run two trains at once.

I don't think that would be even possible with the capacity that the ride is able to handle vs a M&G

it takes about a minute to load eg Pull up on handle bars push down on handle bars and then were off.

You can't tell? Let me clear it up for you: I am not. You are entirely wrong. Peter Pan's Flight has a hourly ride capacity at literally ONE THIRD that of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. So no - Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will not have "double Peter Pan's Flight" wait times on an average day.
