I see no mention of this being a separate ticketed thing. Is this just a new offering for all guests that might want to hang out with a macaw?

Yep its a show taking place several times a day, part of normal park operations.

Excellent. This Tiki obsessed park patron might be interested in checking it out. Any word if they are teaching them to sing as well as fly and interact with the guests?
Kidding aside, this seems like a nice little plus to add for guests. If I read the post right, having a beautiful bird like a macaw flying around the island at DAK seems like it adds a HUGE amount of everyone's favorite "kinetics", but in a very natural and fitting way for the Animal Kingdom.

Sounds like they're bringing back some of the old Discovery Island charm. They used to have a similar experience there.

Similar to what they do with the military macaws at Discovery Cove, very cool to see. Interested to see how far the flight pattern will be.

I was just looking at pictures of Discovery Island and remembering how much I loved that place when I was younger. What a fantastic little piece of the resort that most folks don't even remember existed.

Ever since about 2000, just about every WDI creation has had an over-long name with a colon or dash.
