So my traitorous wife of 22 + years and my disloyal daughter of 16+ years are off the Disneyland
tomorrow on a high school band trip from Texas WITHOUT me! WTH????? That is just wrong

So when I was giving her the business about it the other night she told me she would take a picture of me with her and hold it up at DL and then have her picture taken, it would look like we were both there in a way. I of course give her more of the business and she said it was a real thing people did, she saw it on Facebook. Now being that I am the last human alive without a Facebook page I have no ideal if this is true or not. Is it? Anybody have a pic of a pic of a person with a pic? :cautious:

Now I do have to add my wife told my daughter that since we have a Disney Chase CC that she could do the special M&G at DL with a princess, my sweet baby girl told her "no, I will wait for dad to do it with me at WDW when we go in June" Now there is my baby girl!!! :joyfull:

Sounds like you need to remind them who's paying for all these trips! :)

And no, I've never heard of a family holding up a cutout of your head on a stick for their group pics.

LOL yeah I thought it sounded off, but she seemed pretty serious about it.

You accuse your wife of being "traitorous"...

And your daughter of being "disloyal"....

Yet you choose a Six Flags picture as your avatar on a WDW messageboard.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

My 19 year old niece had a pic of her best friend "Meatball" (I know, shoot me) on a paint stir stick.

I was not too happy that Meatball started appearing in all of our PhotoPass+ pics.

Given that I paid for PPP, I had no qualms telling her that all group shots were of just the four of us REAL people, and she and Meatball could do their own pics.
It didn't help that Meatball's pic has been modified to make her eyes 2-3 times their actual size.

As the only girl with three brothers and the mother of two sons, I have to admit that I do not get girls at all.

Every so often I get a business trip to Orlando. My DS always takes me to task about going to "Disney" without him. My DW couldn't care less. She keeps asking when am I going to Hawaii or Europe on business. The funny thing is neither one complained when I went to Winnipeg last January.

I know if I went to Florida on business and took a side trip to WDW without her, my wife would really give me a hard time. I would either go and not tell her or just not go.

This is in the film 'Up In The Air'. They do this for someone's wedding gift. I've never seen it done in reality.

So I would be Meatball in the case? :) Maybe if they photoshopped a cool mustache on me!

Fiar enough but in my defense it's Fiesta Texas, and it was independent for a time before it was 6F

But even now it's a great park :) I mean it has roller coasters and real cliffs together, that's pretty cool. And one awesome awesome raft ride! Some good times there as a family.

yes it is a thing to do right now. at least once a day I see someone with a cutout taking pics at WDW. I have seen it at cocoa beach as well. the had a cut out on a towel and were taking pics of it.
