Hotel parking for parents

Hoping someone can help me with a question.

My parents are driving up from Boca to hang out at the hotel one afternoon/night while we are staying at the Bay Lake Tower.

I did some searching and found that non resort guests have a 3 hour limit when parking at the Contemporary or can pay $15 for valet parking.

Do I just ask for a parking pass for them when I check in and meet them in the lot or are they subject to the 3 hour limit and $15 valet parking fee? I will not have a car there.

And also let me clarify. I don't believe you are stealing a spot, you would be entitled to one anyway as a guest with one room reservation. You aren't taking a spot from anyone else IMO.
