Best Transportation to Ohana/CG from CBR?

My family and I have ADRs at CG and Ohana on separate nights. What is the best transportation to those restaurants from CBR? Particularly on CG night, I do NOT want to drive for selfish reasons. When we're through with our dinner, my plan is to see my parents to their transportation then park hop to MK. (I have an AP, they have one-park-per day tickets.)

I was thinking we could bus to MK then take monorail. Does the bus go to MK or to the TTC? Or are there separate buses fro MK and TTC? I guess we could cab it. Thoughts?

When it comes to time, the best option is a cab. You can usually be there in 15-20 minutes tops. If you want to take Disney transportation you will need to go to MK and then take either the boat or monorail to the resort. Plan for an hour if you are using Disney transportation.

I would take the bus to MK, then walk to the Contemporary. Then I would bus to MK, then take the monorail or boat to Poly.

I second this. The bus will take you from the CBR straight to the MK bus stop.

For the Contemporary: You have three options. Option 1, and probably the fastest, is to walk. It is not much farther to walk from the bus stop to the Contemporary as it is to walk to the monorail platform. Option 2 is the monorail. Take the resort (NOT express) monorail over to the Contemporary. The Contemporary is the first stop after the MK. Option 3 is go by boat. That will take the longest, but it is a neat ride.

For the Polynesian: We'll call this 2.5 options. Option 1 and 1.5 is Monorail. You can either take the resort monorail, in which case the Poly will be the third stop (after Contemporary and TTC) or take the express monorail and walk from the TTC. It is a 5-10 minute walk through the Poly grounds to get to Ohana. Option 2 is boat. I think I am remembering right that the boat goes straight to the Poly from the MK. It might go to the GF first.

For any options, allow 30-45 minutes for the bus ride, 5-10 for walking, 10-15 for monorails, and 20 for boats. Personally, I would walk to the Contemporary and take the boat to the Poly.

I guess you could also take a taxi. Personally, I hate doing that because it feels too much like real world and pulls me out of the Disney magic.

Okay. My mother isn't very ambulatory so we'll have a wheelchair. She's not so infirm that she can't get onto and off a bus herself. It's just long distances require a wheelchair for her. So for the Contemporary, yeah, I thought about walking from the bus stop to the monorail station but you have to "backtrack" just to get to it then wait for the resort monorail to take you one stop. Walking (and wheeling my mother in a wheelchair) straight to the Contemporary might be the better option.

Regarding Poly, I think a boat would be more relaxing and enjoyable. Besides, it would get us in the tropical Polynesian mood anyway arriving by water.

Thanks. That's what I've pretty much told my parents.
