Travel Channel is killing me!

I have been watching the Travel Channel all day. After watching several shows of "Disney" this and "Disney" that, I am getting soooo homesick (yes, I consider Disney home). I just left AKL 3 weeks ago, so I won't be back to Disney for several months, possibly a year. Does anyone else suffer from PDD (post Disney depression)?

I left about the Polynesian a month ago and watching the Travel Channel all day today has definately increased my PDD (which was already high enough. What gets me is when they show more obscure shots- like the TTC- or the driver's view of the monorail going to the Contemporary- or anything else that you don't normally see on TV, only when you're there. Right now I'm watching about Imagineers (even though I've seen it twice!) Can't wait for Ultimate WDW tonight at 8!

Wow, it's so nice to finally know that I'm not the only one that feels this way! My friends all think I'm crazy when I say I get homesick when I'm away from DW for a long time. I never knew there was a name for it though, lol. PDD - yep, I've definitely got it :(

Oh yeah, fully entrenched in PDD. Been watching the travel channel all day.

We're planning on Disneyland for the first time in October. I hope it will cure my WDW blues for a while!

I feel the same way. I was just there in December, and it feels like I've been away for years.

This past week has been reallllly bad... I'm having withdrawals... haha.

Darn that Travel Channel!~!!!

I've been watching it ALL day and didn't get a darn thing done!

Actually though I learned quite a bit about Disney today that I didn't know even though I've been there 11 times. :)

I'm not getting PDD because I'm going to WDW in 54 days, 3 hours, 57 minutes, and 34 seconds.

We're in the planning stages now!:sohappy:

I know EXCACTLY how yall feel, I was there(luckily, cuz I usually just go in the summer) last year in december. And I cant stop getting pictures of wdw in mye head. I was sittin up in science class today having these visions of the parks, couldnt concentrate on a thing.

My English teacher just came back from wdw. During Spring Break she took her daughter, her and her husband, and she said it was great. Hearing that just got me trippin with more pdd.
It was funny, cuz she said her daughter who is I think under 7, all she wanted to do was ride space mountain over and over again, she was like forget these dark rides, bring on SM.

I thought that was pretty hilarious.

I suffer from POD about three weeks to a month prior to the trip, and about the same coming back. Then.. if I watch some Disney movies I suffer from POD for a few days. We go every year or every other year, and it gives my that Disney fix for a little while.

lol, ironically i too have had some pretty bad PDD recently and my cure: today, i spent the entire day sorting out all my tapes from my old camcorder.... i ofcourse came across endless amounts of disney footage.... lets just say I've ridden SE 6 times today already, watched Indy.. Fantasmic.. and my all-time favorite: Tapestry of Nations. -now that was good..... [the whole parade on tape!] I tend to forget how moving this parade was.. such a shame to see it go.. and now I'm sad again.. bring back ToN.
