TDL to replace Captain EO with Stitch Encounter

OLC announced today that Captain EO will close on June 30, 2014 at Tokyo Disneyland, to make way for a Stitch Encounter attraction (like the one at HKDL) scheduled to open in the summer of 2015.

I know that Japan adores Stitch to an point of Obsessions sometimes. In fact Japan is one of the only parks I have seen use Stitch's Girlfriend Angel in the parks. I don't know if China shares the same love.

Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo now will all have it.

What's kind of odd is that Stitch appears in their Tiki Room, but the Stitch Encounter story is that he's in outer space communicating with us via screen. Omnipresent Stitch.
